High energy ground feed for birds Our new high energy ground feed for birds has been blended and tested to offer your birds a nutritional, high energy food. Ideal for winter and springtime feeding when an additional energy boost is often required. Either scattered on the floor or placed on a table or ground feeder. This mixture contains whole nuts so we do not recommend during nesting season when fledglings are abundant. Blackbird’s will eat from a table although they tend to prefer ground feeders if given the choice.

Robin

The Robin is Britain’s national bird and is a real garden character. Robins are insectivores so need a high protein diet. They will eat from a bird table but prefer to peck straight from the ground.

Dunnock

The Dunnock can be a reserved bird that likes to keep under the shady cover of shrubbery and garden foliage so ground tables placed in quiet spots will best attract them.
