Our specially formulated Vale’s Hedgehog Food is used daily at Vale Wildlife Hospital, one of the UK’s largest wildlife rescue centres. Each year, they care for over 2,000 hedgehogs, helping them regain weight and strength before being released back into the wild.

Hedgehogs are natural scavengers with a varied diet in the wild. Many common pet foods, such as kitten food, are often too high in protein and fat and too low in fibre.
Vale’s Hedgehog Food is carefully balanced with:
- Plenty of meat and fibre
- Selected vitamins and minerals
- Lower protein and fat levels
- Higher fibre content
- A carefully balanced Calcium to Phosphorus ratio of 2:1
This makes it closer to the natural diet hedgehogs would find in the wild, supporting healthy digestion, bone strength, and overall wellbeing.

Feeding Guide
